Chef Ron became proprietor of
The Carriage House Restaurant At Rosemount, in June
of
2003.   His vision for this historic setting was to bring the
elegance of the Rosemount Museum and grounds into the
restaurant.

After minor remodeling and detailing of the dining rooms and
kitchen area; thoughtfully planning  an exciting menu
featuring fresh produce from local growers in Colorado, and
handpicking his staff of service oriented employees, he
opened the doors to the public in September of 2003.

Chef Ron is a graduate of The
He is also a C.S.U. Certified Master Gardner.  He opened Café
Grandmere  in La Junta, Colorado; earning the Triple AAA
Three Diamond Restaurant notoriety, and was voted the
area's Finest Restaurant for the past 5 years.

Chef Ron believes in an open door policy with the patrons of
his restaurant.  He reconstructed the kitchen and service
areas allowing the customers to see where their meals are
prepared.
On any given day you may find him creating something
wonderful in the kitchen, picking herbs from the Rosemount
garden, or working on his numerous planting projects inside
and outdoors around the restaurant.  He is also a member of
the Rosemount Museum Association, and has learned the
history of the house and the Thatcher family, and is happy to
share his knowledge with interested diners.

He considers it a great honor to  showcase his standard of
dining excellence and creativity in such a beautiful  setting
engulfed with history and tradition.
